Good nutrition supports the body's own defences and resistance. No claim
can be made about the efficacy of any naturopathic nutritional advice.
Naturopathic nutrition practitioners are not permitted to diagnose or to
claim to treat medical conditions, and this programme is not a substitute
for professional medical advice or treatment. It is not intended to cure
anything.
You are responsible for contacting your GP or specialist about any health
concerns you have, and we ask that you tell your GP about the protocol you
will be following.
Please tell us about any medical diagnosis, prescription medication,
herbal medicine, supplement or over-the-counter medication you are taking,
as it may affect what we recommend. Keep taking prescribed medication
exactly as prescribed throughout.
This programme is not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
If either applies to you, please write to Fay rather than beginning.
The deep track includes a period of water fasting. If you have diabetes,
a history of hypoglycaemia or an eating disorder, a heart, kidney, liver or
thyroid condition, are underweight, or take medication that must be taken
with food, please speak to Fay before choosing it.
The programme has a defined time frame. Please do not extend the fast or
the liquid days beyond it, and do not continue any supplement plan past the
programme unless we have agreed it with you.
Please tell us about any concern as it arises rather than waiting. If you
feel genuinely unwell at any point, stop the protocol, eat something
grounding, and contact Fay, your GP or NHS 111. Emergencies are 999.
