I came to this work through my own body.
A naturopath and functional nutritionist working with people who are ready for change, and tired of losing the thread.
A path that was not clean or linear.
I came to this work the way most practitioners do. Not through a clean, linear path, but through the body's own insistence. Through years of not quite understanding what was happening in mine, and then, slowly, beginning to.
I qualified as a nutritionist and naturopath in 2019. Since then I have worked with people navigating gut dysfunction, chronic fatigue, metabolic resistance, hormonal transitions, skin conditions, nervous system dysregulation, and the complex patterns that tend to sit behind all of them.
I work in person in London and online, with people in many places, many lives, many starting points. What they share is a willingness to stop performing wellness and start practising it. To move past managing symptoms toward something fuller: energy, clarity, ease, a life that feels like their own.
Everything is connected.
I do not separate the body from the nervous system. I do not separate digestion from sleep, or skin from gut, or energy from emotional regulation. Everything is connected, and that connectivity is where the real work happens.
I draw on functional nutrition, naturopathic principles, macrobiotic philosophy, and somatic awareness. I read the research. I also trust the body's own intelligence: its rhythms, its seasons, its signals. Neither feels like a compromise. And beyond the biology and the emotions, there is the part of a person that knows things beyond the mind. That, too, belongs in the room.
-
i.The body is one system.Gut, hormones, sleep, skin, mood. They communicate. Treating them in isolation is why most plans stall.
-
ii.Capacity comes before change. You cannot change from a state of overwhelm. Regulation of the nervous system is the ground on which everything else can rest.
-
iii.A plan must meet your life.Built around your actual week, not the version you might have on a good one. Specific, achievable, alive.
-
iv.Presence is the medicine. The quality of attention and the clarity of direction you receive while changing is, often, the thing that lets the change hold.
Six traditions, one practice.
Each of these informs how I read a body, how I build a plan, and how we work together. None of them sits in isolation. They meet in the room.
Personalised, root-cause work across digestion, energy, hormones, and inflammation. Evidence-led, individualised, never a one-size protocol.
Whole-system principles, herbs, foods, and pace. A long view of how the body restores itself when given the right conditions.
Polyvagal-informed work, and practical tools to widen your window of tolerance so the plan you make is one you can actually live.
An older intelligence about food and balance: warming and cooling, and the energetics of how food meets the body.
Interoceptive awareness, gentle movement, breath. The body speaks before the mind articulates. This work helps you hear it.
Threads from traditions older than functional medicine, about constitution, elements, and the meaning of symptoms, woven in where they belong.
In their words.
“It is so rare to be so heard and so held. I found Fay at a tender time in my life, and she recognised all that was fragile and needed care. She is so gifted at reflecting back the nuggets of what you have shared, then turning your blockages into a path of divinely inspired action, with full support, presence and dedication. I am healing on this 1:1 path with her in a way I could not have found the clarity for on my own.”
“A transformative experience. Fay supported me throughout my journey with incredible professionalism and kindness. She listened attentively, understood my needs, and offered personalized solutions that made all the difference. I not only achieved my goals but also developed a healthier relationship with food.”
“Fay listens and learns about you holistically, then gives advice. She explained to me why, which I find immensely helpful, as I like to understand how any changes I make impact me. This in turn enables me to be self-motivated.”
Fay au Fait, because I am passionate about learning: au fait is French for being up to date, properly in the know. And it is French because I grew up speaking French.
Trained, registered, and still learning.
